The “Night Action” is going global. Netflix has officially unleashed the high-octane trailer for The Night Agent Season 3, confirming that Peter Sutherland will return to our screens on February 19, 2026.

Following the explosive events of the second season, the new trailer teases a more personal, haunted version of Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso). This time, the stakes move beyond the hallways of the White House as the mission takes Peter to the streets of Istanbul, Turkey.

    A “Deal With The Devil”

The trailer opens with a somber reflection from Peter, who admits to making a “deal with the devil” to save lives—a reference to his uneasy alliance with the shady broker Jacob Monroe (Louis Herthum). As Peter struggles with the guilt of his choices, he is thrust into a new international crisis.

The Season 3 plot follows Peter as he is tasked with hunting down a young Treasury agent who has fled to Istanbul after murdering his boss. Carrying sensitive government intelligence, the rogue agent becomes the center of a massive conspiracy involving dark money and elite assassins.

    New Faces and Returning Favorites

Showrunner Shawn Ryan is expanding the world of the series significantly. Along with Basso, Season 3 sees the return of Luciane Buchanan as Rose Larkin and Fola Evans-Akingbola as Chelsea Arrington.

The cast is also getting a major injection of star power:

    • Jennifer Morrison joins as the First Lady.
    • Genesis Rodriguez plays a relentless journalist who becomes Peter’s unexpected ally.
    • Stephen Moyer stars as a high-level hitman.
    • David Lyons portrays a former spy pulled back into the field.

    Why We’re Excited

While Season 1 was a contained political thriller and Season 2 expanded the scope of the Night Action program, Season 3 looks to be the most ambitious yet. By filming in locations like New York, Mexico City, and Istanbul, the series is leaning into a “Bourne Identity” vibe that suits Basso’s gritty performance.

With Season 2 having just dropped in early 2025, Netflix is moving fast to capitalize on its biggest action hit. All ten episodes of The Night Agent Season 3 will be available for binge-watching this February.
